Description of problem: the ceph lvm batch mode and it's usage with ceph-ansible needs to be more fully documented, including examples of various hardware configurations. Examples should be provided for these configurations: * multiple HDDs with single NVMe * multiple HDDs and multiple NVMe's Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHCS 3.2 Installation Guide for RHEL Chapter 3.2, table 3.2 needs to be updated to cover 'ceph lvm batch' mode
I read the preview links which cover the limited cfgs doc'd upstream. I think we need to provide our customers more information on prescribed usage for multiple NVMe configurations. I have reviewed the doc. Everything looks good except scenario with 2 NVMes and 4 HDDs.
