Description of problem:
Error mesg in log refering that LDAP fail to test.

slaptest: sql_select option missing
slaptest: auxpropfunc error no mechanism available
ldap slapd[2767]: sql_select option missing
slapd[2767]: auxpropfunc error no mechanism available

the slapd.conf & ldap.conf are chowned to ldap, and use ldbm Database.

This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd.

Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and
either update the target product or close it ?

FC4 is not supported anymore, please
try FC-6 or F7 when it gets out and reopen the bug if the problem still persists.
