Description Sandro Bonazzola 2019-01-18 12:28:05 UTC
metrics is requiring a plugin not yet included in collectd.
Let's work with RDO to get the plugin in.

Comment 1 Sandro Bonazzola 2019-02-18 08:49:51 UTC
write_syslog has been added as sub-package: collectd-write_syslog
Build is avaialble here: https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=25092
It's already tagged for release and available on mirrors.

Comment 2 Pavel Novotny 2019-03-22 12:02:58 UTC
Verified with
collectd-5.8.1-3.el7
collectd-write_syslog-5.8.1-3.el7

collectd-write_syslog is now built along with the collectd package.
Build https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=25092
is available in the CentOS `opstools` repo: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/opstools/x86_64/perfmon/
