Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

commit a0b42327c6bb587c20628f8bc946c6041f61818a

graphics: move all listen code into one place
I can reproduce this issue with package:
virt-manager-2.0.0-5.el8.noarch
virt-install-2.0.0-5.el8.noarch
Then try to verify this bug with new build:
virt-manager-2.2.1-1.el8.noarch
virt-install-2.2.1-1.el8.noarch
libvirt-4.5.0-24.module+el8.1.0+3205+41ff0a42.x86_64
qemu-kvm-2.12.0-77.module+el8.1.0+3382+49219945.x86_64
python3-libvirt-4.5.0-1.module+el8+2529+a9686a4d.x86_64
Steps:
Scenario-1
1.Set graphics listen type to none.
<graphics type='vnc'>
<listen type='none'/>
</graphics>
2.Check modification of listen type and listen address on virt-xml successfully.
2.1
# virt-xml vnc --edit --graphics listen=127.0.0.1
Domain 'vnc' defined successfully.
WARNING XML did not change after domain define. You may have changed a value that libvirt is setting by default.
2.2
# virsh dumpxml vnc | grep graphics
<graphics type='vnc' port='-1' autoport='yes' listen='127.0.0.1'>
<listen type='address' address='127.0.0.1'/>
</graphics>
Result:Listen type is changed from 'none' to 'address' and address is added successfully.
Scenario-2
1.Set graphics listen type to socket.
<graphics type='vnc'>
<listen type='socket'/>
</graphics>
2.2#virsh dumpxml vnc | grep graphics
...
<graphics type='vnc' port='-1' autoport='yes' listen='127.0.0.1'>
<listen type='address' address='127.0.0.1'/>
</graphics>
Result:Listen type is changed from 'socket' to 'address' and address is added successfully.
So I move this bug from ON_QA to VERIFIED based on above testing.
