The method kikstart_attributes in "render_extentions.rb":https://github.com/Katello/katello/blob/f84f77133aa4ac0982397eae046c99e674d03948/app/lib/katello/concerns/renderer_extensions.rb#L10 tries to pass content_facet into a medium provider, but it should receive the whole entity.

Peter, just to set the right expectation, this does not fully fix the hostgroup based provisioning. There's still this issue with host_param macro.

this fixes the undefined method `content_facet' for #<Hostgroup...>'`  error.
