Description of problem:
Building a default PXE menu with a hostgroup&env combinations creates new menu entries for each combination.

However, booting using these combination fails with:

NoMethodError: undefined method `host_param' for #<Hostgroup:0x00007ffb80274ce0>

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a hostgroup with some installation media and content source
2. locate the default pxelinux provisioning template (by default it's `kickstart default`) and add a HG association to it (assoction->hostgroup and env combinations)
3. build the default pxe menu
4. boot a new host, unknown to satellite, let it pxe boot, choose the Hostgroup option.
5. observe the 500 error on trying to load the kickstart file

Actual results:
error, on retrieving ks file, HG provisioning blocked

Hi all,
Is it possible to workaround this somehow?
We want to use hostgroup provisioning and I wanted to have one provisioning template for all RHEL 7 minor releases.
But now it seems that it is not possible to access hostgroup variables like activation key or medium url specified there or custom specified variables in hostgroup?

Hostgroup combinations (aka Hostgroup provisioning) cannot be used with out regular Kickstart templates. In this context, there is no host, no @host variable and all macros that are host-based are also not available. I explain this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=579f_yAuqgo (this still applies in any 6.x version).

We are not changing this anytime soon, plans are to replace hostgroup provisioning with something better but it's not on a table for now.
