Description Ward Wouts 2005-09-30 11:02:15 UTC

Description of problem:
With the latest upgrade (ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386.rpm) the ruby-libs package started depending on tcl/tk. Any tcl/tk dependencies should be limited to the ruby-tcltk package.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. [ward@stromboli ward]$ rpm -qa|grep ruby
ruby-libs-1.8.2-7.fc4.2
ruby-1.8.2-7.fc4.2
2. [ward@stromboli ward]$ sudo rpm -Uhv ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386.rpm ruby-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386.rpm
ward@stromboli password:
warning: ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2
error: Failed dependencies:
        libtcl8.4.so is needed by ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386
        libtk8.4.so is needed by ruby-libs-1.8.3-1.fc4.i386

Actual Results: Upgrade to newer ruby-libs package failed because of missing tcl/tk.

Expected Results: The upgrade should just work.
