Description Raphael Groner 2019-05-12 14:39:36 UTC
Description of problem:
BuildRequires: pkgconfig(qjdns-qt5) - jdns and qjdns is not
required since 1.1 version. Psi uses Qt5 built-in methods to resolve
dns names. Or you should enable USE_QJDNS flag.
And maybe this line is not needed any more
rm -fr iris/src/jdns

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
-

How reproducible:
yes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. # dnf install psi-plus
2.
3.

Actual results:
qjdns gets installed as dependency.

Expected results:
No dependency to qjdns.

Additional info:
Thanks to Vitaly Tonkacheyev for the hint sent by e-mail.

Is jdns, in particular qjdns-qt5, still and actively maintained?

CC lupinix FYI

Ivan, are you still interested?

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 31 development cycle.
Changing version to '31'.

Comment 6 Vitaly 2020-11-08 09:13:35 UTC
Version 1.4.1529 built without jDNS as it no longer required for the modern Qt versions and recommended by the upstream.
