Description of problem: Thunderbird crashes "segmentation fault" when called with -ProfileManager or -P options. ... in fact, the profile manager never starts and you're led back to the terminal prompt. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): - Fedora : 5.0.13-300.fc30.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon May 6 00:39:45 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux - Gnome : GNOME Shell 3.32.1 - Thunderbird brought by Fedora updates : 60.6.1 "Daily" channel (packet : thunderbird.x86_64 60.6.1-1.fc30 @fedora) How reproducible: In gnome-terminal, launch "thunderbird -ProfileManager" Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Segmentation fault Expected results: Thunderbird's profile manager starts, which allows you to manage several profiles. Additional info: - maybe the same as bug #242519 ? - mozilla support question (asked by me) : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1258982 ; some tests config described there... (profiles.ini, .thunderbird directory, etc.) - I'm relatively new at Fedora (Linux in general) ; I don't know if it's a Fedora, Linux or Mozilla problem ; however, it seems that the profile manager works with other Linux distros and TB packages (see Mozilla support question and answers : "Vanilla version on openSUSE works fine" and so on...).
New TB builds with the crashes fixed are in koji now - thunderbird-60.6.1-5. (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=39). Thanks for your patience.
