Description William Henry 2019-08-06 21:06:42 UTC
Description of problem:

There are two problems with the current installer instructions at:
https://cloud.redhat.com/openshift/install/aws/installer-provisioned

1. IT asks you to Download the installer but does not explicitly tell you how to run it. It should say something like "First you need to create an installer configuration file. Use openshift-installer create installer-config. This will step you through the information gathering required to start your cluster. IMPORTANT. Below is a link to Download a Pull Secret that will be used with your new cluster. You will be required to past the contents of that file into the installer when prompted.

2. Remove the @pull-secret from the following URL:
https://cloud.openshift.com/clusters/install#pull-secret
And also explain that you need to select the provider again to get to the page that has the Download Pull Secret button/link.

This is a really old bug and the current installation instructions on the page have been updated to address all of these concerns. I am closing this bug for now and you can reopen if there are other usability issues that still exist.
