At the current state the project is an NSIS based installer which installs the virtio-win drivers and relevant agents, the project is completely different from the D/S guest tools. On 4.4 we intend to move away from that split and use the new virtio-win Wix toolset based installer which will be provided inside the virtio-win iso.
