Description of problem: If one connects to an LDAP address book (as per http://intranet.corp.redhat.com/ic/intranet/AccessingRedHatRosterInEvolution.html), one can certainly go ahead and search for contacts while trying to address an email, but nothing shows up in the Contacts section of Evo, under the LDAP address book. Searching doesn't work there, and it appears empty. This is very counterintuitive behavior. Not yet sure if this is a regression or not. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): evolution-2.0.2-25 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add LDAP address book as per http://intranet.corp.redhat.com/ic/intranet/AccessingRedHatRosterInEvolution.html 2. Try to do a search or see any contacts Actual results: No contacts show up, unless you are trying to address an email. Expected results: Contacts should show up, at least up until the download limit set (default 100 cards). Additional info:
Unfortunately you need to do a search of some kind for anything to turn up.
I tried a search. Using the search thing at the top of the contacts screen, I get "Unable to perform search. This query did not complete successfully". But it works if I try to get email addresses from it when composing a new message...
Evolution 2.0.2 is only being updated for security issues. Closing as WONTFIX.
