simple-scan doesn't seem to be branched already for epel8 : (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/simple-scan/branches?branchname=master) Is that possible to branch it, and then build/provide it through epel8 ? Thanks a lot !
Just to add that I rebuilt the f29 src.rpm through copr and it works just fine : https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/arrfab/not-in-epel8/build/1042569/
Seconding/thirding this request; I had come to rely on the presence of this app in EPEL 7 for my parents' computer and it was a bummer to not find it in EPEL 8.

Also adding my vote. Seeing this in EPEL 8 would be great, as I depended on it for the same reasons as above with RHEL 7.
