Created attachment 1621383 [details] Example of actual scaling issue Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHV 4.3.5.6 (but reproducible on older RHV 4.3 releases as well as oVirt 4.3.6 with a quick test. How reproducible: - Have a screen resolution of 1920x1080 or lower with likely larger font scaling (150% on Windows) - Have any reasonably modern browser: Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the RHV manager login page on a low-resolution 1920x1080 screen in Desktop Environment with slightly taller menu bars (reproduced on Windows 10 1903) 2. Try clicking on the upper-right drop-down menu with the label "Not logged in" Actual results: The dropdown menu doesn't open, isn't even clickable. While on larger screens like 1920x1200 this works fine but is reproducible by reducing the browser window in size, on a rather smal screen you cannot actually click on the dropdown menu since it gets overlayed by the text in the middle of the login page such as "Java SDK Guide [PDF]" Expected results: There remains enough unused space and enabling scrolling for small screens would also improve usability. Additional info: Managing RHV on a typical 13.3" laptop screen for ultra-portable use or even smaller can be daunting. The only workaround is to type in the direct URL to example the webadmin which will give you a accessible login form and after login redirects to the webadmin. (same applies to /web-ui) https://<fqdn-of-rhvm>/ovirt-engine/webadmin/
This bug is in modified state and targeting 4.4.1. Can we re-target to 4.4.0 and move to QA?

Steps: 1) Have 1920×1080px resolution, open browser and make the text bigger (150% zoom) 2) Check that the scrollbar for login is clickable, scrolldown menu appears and its items are clickable Result: Scrollbar is aligned correctly, is clickable, scrolldown menu appears and its items are clickable.
