In RHBZ 1782823 a user pointed out that the gedit-plugin-editorconfig I built for EPEL8 isn't installable, for lack of a python3-editorconfig dependency. Indeed, from looking at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-editorconfig/branches it seems that there's no EPEL package for the module. So I'd like to request one, as it's a necessary dependency for the GEdit plugin.

The package was orphaned, and I’ve picked it up. Expect an EPEL8 package within the next day or two. I’ll also create an EPEL9 package. I’m not planning to backport to EPEL7 unless somebody has a specific need for it.

Looks like there have been no changes to gedit-plugin-editorconfig upstream since the last time I pushed a patch their way, but the latest el8 build is even OLDER than that. I'll get started on a new el8 build, and put together one for el9 as well.
