Description of problem:

If you attempt to look at HPA events in the event viewer,
by selecting a filter for "HPA Horizontal Pod Autoscaler"
no events are matched

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create HPA to generate an HPA event.
2. Look at events with filter set to "All events", observe HPA event
3. Set filter to "HPA Horizontal Pod Autoscaler"

Actual results:

After step #3, no events are seen in the event viewer

Expected results:

After step #3, you should see just the events relating to HPA

Which console does this affect, the developer console or the "cluster console"?

It's in the "cluster console"

3.11 is in maintenance mode at this point, the recommended path forward is to upgrade. Thanks!

This appears to be a duplicate of Bug 1795456, which is fixed in OpenShift 4.3.z and newer. (That bug describes a different resource, but it was the same underlying problem.)
