Description of problem:
When starting Windows VM (not run once) the engine attaches latest WGT ISO, which is 4.3.10, this is too old and latest virtio-win should be attached, same as with run once dialogue.

1. set up Windows VM (correct OS type) without any guest tools installed
2. start the VM
3.

Actual results:
old WGT 4.3.10 is attached automatically

Expected results:
latest virtio-win should be attached instead

This is being worked on in the virtio-win RFE.
There are some drawbacks.
The virtio-win doesn't contain the json in the RPM, only in the ISO. Also, it currently available only upstream (see more in BZ 1776183).
The qemu-guest-agent available in downstream is more up-to-date than the upstream. Only the newer version and above (downstream's version and above) will report the current drivers on the windows guest.
The move to virtio-win in virt flows is in BZ 1828347.

We can, as a fast fix to switch it over to virtio-win. But we than will miss version comparison (the CD will be always attached).
I suggest closing this bug as a duplicate of BZ 1828347.

Sure, you can close this one as duplicate.
I couldn't find any related bug so I opened this one, maybe mention this auto-attach feature is being worked on in BZ 1828347 as right now it's not mentioned there.
