As an administrator, I want to run the RHOSP Load-balancing service (octavia) using the OVN provider driver to take advantage of improved network traffic throughput and latency on RHOSP 13, a Long Life Release.
Hi, The content reflecting the backport of octavia train to queens was published today as part of the release of RHOSP 13z13. Customers can see this new version of the RHOSP 13 "Networking Guide," here: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html-single/networking_guide/index#sec-octavia Thanks to the developers and quality engineers who reviewed this doc. --Greg
Hi, Content about upgrading octavia to access the features from the train backport has also been added to the RHOSP 13 "Keeping Red Hat OpenStack Platform Updated" guide. Customers can find this content here: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html-single/keeping_red_hat_openstack_platform_updated/index#upgrade-load-balancing-service --Greg
