I need to test a little more, but I went through this on a cluster yesterday and it was roughly the same steps as an install, but after retrieving the operator.yml from the operator pod `oc replace -f operator.yml` instead of `oc apply -f operator.yml`. From there the operator upgraded other aspects of installation. One thing I need to verify is that it still works with the controller and ui also installed. Link was supposed to be https://github.com/konveyor/mig-operator/pull/375 Xin, can you test the upgrade documentation on 4.5? https://docs.openshift.com/container-platform/4.4/migration/migrating_3_4/deploying-cam-3-4.html#migration-upgrading-migration-tool_migrating-3-4 A verification step cannot be added at this time to the upgrade procedures. A separate docs bug will be created, dependent on MIGENG bug to find a way for 3.x cluster to see CAM version. The current upgrade steps have been verified, so I will add them to the 4.5 docs. Merged. |
