Description of problem: After setup of grafana on a separate machine, SSO does not work, due to bug 1846294. Until it's fixed, we should restart the engine ourselves, and prompt the user confirming that. Actual results: SSO fails Expected results: We prompt the user to confirm restarting the engine on the remote engine machine. If user confirms, we restart it, during stage Closeup, and after that SSO works (but requires manually creating a user, see also bug 1846256). Additional info: If/after bug 1846294 is fixed, we can/should revert the patch for current bug, so that the engine will not be restarted anymore.
DWH setup asks about restarting ovirt-engine and restarts it when Yes selected. Confusing is that there is still information about restarting even when it already did automatically. I've created another bug for it BZ 1856002 Verified in ovirt-engine-dwh-setup-4.4.1.2-1.el8ev.noarch
This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.4.1 release, published on July 8th 2020. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.4.1 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report.
