Description of problem: ------------------------ Creation of new volume, as part of Day2 operation from web console (cockpit) with 3 node cluster works good. The same procedure with 6 nodes cluster fails to create new volume Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ------------------------------------------------------------- cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.14.9 How reproducible: ---------------- Always Steps to Reproduce: ------------------- 1. Create a 6 node RHHI-V deployment 2. From webconsole (cockpit), try to create new volume Actual results: ----------------- Dialog opens up to list the host, after proceeding to the next tab, the dialog closes Expected results: ----------------- Volume create should be successful
Creation of volume task is the basic operation as part of the day2 operation, without this feature supported from web console, customers will not have easy way to create volumes. So this bug will be the blocker for RHHI-V 1.8
Adding this bug to RHHI-V Errata has moved this bug to ON_QA, moving it back to MODIFIED
This bug depends on the downstream RHV 4.4.1-1 bug - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1859063 and replacing the upstream oVirt bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1856685
Tested with cockpit-ovirt-0.14.10-1.el8ev 1. Created the RHHI-V 1.8 deployment with 6 hosts in the cluster 2. Post deployment, from web console (cockpit), created the new volume 3. Repeated the test with 9 node and 12 node cluster. Volume creation was successful
