Making a clone to send fixes on the ocs-operator side.
Target release should be 4.5, if I am not wrong. Also, we need devel acks if we are taking it for OCS4.5 (please note that 4.5 is in blocker only mode as of now)
If I am not mistaken we need to first fix in the master which is tracking 4.6 and then backport it to 4.5. Thus this BZ is pointing to 4.6.
Yes, first it needs to be fixed in master only but we don't need a BZ for 4.6 as of now because it is in dev phase. Moreover, ack flags are set to ocs-4.5 ? because of which it is shown in 4.5 BZ list and not 4.6
This BZ has not been marked as a blocker, and it looks like the related changes in Rook have resolved the actual blocker issue. As such, moving this to OCS 4.6. Also moving it to NEW, since I'm not aware of anyone working on this yet. If so, please assign it to yourself.
Backport PR merged.
Bipul, please take a look.
Sidhant , can you describe the following SC ocs-external-storagecluster-ceph-rgw? Thanks
AFAIK, even if rgw is not available we fallback to nooba handling OBC requests so I'd say the SC is expected, however its configuration might be incorrect. Nimrod, am I right? Thanks.
There is no automatic failback, since the OBC is created with a certain SC and that would be the provisioned handling it. If an OBC is created on RGW and RGW is not avail it will not be handled by NooBaa ... Same as for PVs
Resetting to default assignee as this isn't an UI related issue.
