Migrated from GitHub issue https://github.com/openshift/console/issues/5863: Our organization has several users that attempt to browse to everything using IE. Would it be possible to make it so that when the user browses to the openshift console, it tells the user IE is not supported, and to try one of the supported browsers?
Do we want to show it as a regular warning? If not, then it should be tackled more like an RFE than a bug. Thoughts?
Hey, Jakub. I'm not sure what you mean by regular warning, but I think it should just be a message on the page. Since the layout for IE 11 is totally broken (IIRC - we can check), we should probably not try to render the app for IE 11 and just show the message.
Didn’t have time to work on this. Reassigning this to Jakub
