As a part of BZ1853906, BZ1925025 and BZ1924823 we have add the option to reboot a host after adding a new host, reinstalling existing host and approving a host. This new option should be added into the following chapter: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.4/html/administration_guide/sect-host_tasks#Host_General_Settings There should also be added a note that, rebooting a host after host deploy is turned on by default, but rebooting a host after host deploy is really required for below use cases: 1. Changing kernel command line parameters of the host 2. Changing firewall type of the cluster For other usecases is recommended to reboot a host after host deploy, but of course administrator can turn it off
Pushing to backlog. I removed the target release. @aspauldi please review and let us know which release we should target. Otherwise, we'll review during backlog refinement and prioritize by PM score. thanks
Pls consider in backlog review.
It's important RFE delivered in RHV 4.4.5. I think we should always provide documentation for all new RFEs within the same RHV release.
@ctomasko, please consider Martin's comment.
