This package fails to build in mock if the minimal build group is reduced to only the packages listed in the Exceptions section of the packaging guidelines. Configure step fails with: checking for GPG Error - version >= 1.0... /usr/bin/gpg-error-config: line 64: /usr/bin/pkg-config: No such file or directoryyes BuildRequires: pkgconfig should fix it.
I don't think gnupg2 was the intended component here... (: Though, on looking over the report/error, it appears to me that the better fix would be to add to libgpg-error-devel: Requires: pkgconfig instead of the suggestion of adding to yumex: BuildRequires: pkgconfig
FYI, Reassigned Component: gnupg2 -> libgpg-error.
libgpg-error-1.3-2.src.rpm now builds in mock on i386 and x86_64.
Why is this bug closed? libgpg-error-devel 1.3-2 includes /usr/bin/gpg-error-config, which explictly calls p/usr/bin/pkg-config and yet there is no dependency on pkgconfig. A dependency of pkgconfig needs to be added to the -devel subpackage.
Agreed, reopening, and adjusting Summary to match reality (esp since this really never had anything to do with yumex).
