Comment 3 Anand Paladugu 2021-04-06 17:42:52 UTC
Hi

Can anyone confirm if the published procedure (https://access.redhat.com/solutions/4518671) does not work in a specific version of OCP ? I have a OCP 4.5 customer that already implemented this solution in 2 clusters without an issue and wants to do it in the third cluster and is now complaining since he cannot access this article any more.

Thx

Anand

OpenShift Container Platform currently does not have out-of-the-box support for post-installation networking configuration. Depending on the desired changes there are solutions. For example, updating DNS/nameserver configuration as described in this bug report can be achieved via an example given in the following kbase solution:

Defining systemd services via MachineConfig in OCP 4.x
  https://access.redhat.com/solutions/6250271

A general, out-of-the-box solution for post-installation networking configuration is in development, and the official request for this functionality can be found at:

Enable support for day-2 changes in static network configuration
  https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RFE-1559

We will close this bug report, and the Feature Request above will be used to track the status of this functionality.
