Created attachment 1774657 [details]
wizard empty source

Description of problem:
1. An error message was triggered later during validation on the Storage step but not at the point of the set-up.
2. Consider making the “Persistent Volume Claim project” required on the General (first) step, where users set up the PVC. Users did not receive the error message until later (Step 3 Storage) that the “PVC cannot be empty” and “please fill in all required fields”

an old bug for this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1840958

Comment 2 Yaacov Zamir 2021-04-26 08:06:10 UTC
How to fix:
a. Users can choose to set storage in the advanced section
b. If users choose to set storage in the general tab, the storage specific inputs will be required and user will not be able to continue

Comment 3 Guohua Ouyang 2021-05-12 08:02:01 UTC
It will be tracking in https://issues.redhat.com/browse/CNV-11535
