Description of problem: The matplotlib packages provided by CentOS include the Tk, Qt and Gtk backends. However the wx backend is missing. Since wxPython is missing from CentOS this is understandable. However wxPython is now available in EPEL (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1765573), so it could be technically possible to add the wx backend to the EPEL repository. It would be much appreciated if this wx matplotlib backend is added to EPEL.
I don't know who maintains this in EPEL, but it's not me.
Thanks for the update. Would it be possible that it is assigned to someone who can work on it? Best regards
No idea, maybe someone on the Python SIG knows.
According to bug 1750771, this was built by Orion.
Hmm, looks like there are some test failures on s390x to look at: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=81128314 though might just ignore that.
Thanks for the update! Should I test for x86_64? From which repository can I do that? Regards
You'll need to download directly from the test build above if you want to test it.
