Description Martin Wolf 2021-05-05 13:03:48 UTC
I tried to upgrade my Server from F33 to F34.
Had to do this quirk from the F34 Common Bug page:
dnf group mark remove networkmanager-submodules

The files downloaded without any issues but then the transaction failed:

Fehler: Transaktionstest fehlerhaft:
Datei /usr/share/man/man8/cockpit_session_selinux.8.gz kollidiert zwischen den versuchten Installationen von selinux-policy-doc-34.4-1.fc34.noarch und cockpit-ws-243-1.fc34.x86_64
Datei /usr/share/man/man8/cockpit_ws_selinux.8.gz kollidiert zwischen den versuchten Installationen von selinux-policy-doc-34.4-1.fc34.noarch und cockpit-ws-243-1.fc34.x86_64

Switching the component.

Cockpit folks, has something changed in cockpit-ws packaging? There is a file conflict with the selinux-policy-doc package.

Martin, as a quick workaround you can temporarily uninstall selinux-policy-doc.

Hello Martin Wolf,

this bug was fixed yesterday in https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-811491ace1 . It needs one more +1 to land, so if you could test that and give feedback, that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, and sorry for the trouble!
