This issue looks similar to these issues, which are also effecting filtering: - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1990255 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2005179 These BZs are owned by Zac. @Kim could you please team up with Zac on figuring our what seems to be the issue, since the filtering might be an issue on other pages as well, since we are sharing the filtering component. Thanks
Couple of items that I observed. I can verify that when you type in a Machine's node it doesn't filter. I observed this in both a 4.9 and 4.10 nightly. Will verify if the "name" filter should also filter the node column. What I did notice is that when entering a name into the filter text field and then deleted suddenly, not all of the items are returned to the list below. This is also documented in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1990255

Checked on ocp 4.10 cluster with payload 4.10.0-0.nightly-2021-12-18-034942. On machines list page, filter by name, input node name, the machine could be filtered out according to it's node name. The bug is fixed.
