Description of problem:
On machines list page, filter with node name, the related master could not be filtered out.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to machines list page, set node name as filter name, check the filter result.
1. No machine is filtered out.
2. The related machine should be filtered out.
This issue looks similar to these issues, which are also effecting filtering:
These BZs are owned by Zac. @Kim could you please team up with Zac on figuring our what seems to be the issue, since the filtering might be an issue on other pages as well, since we are sharing the filtering component.
Couple of items that I observed.
I can verify that when you type in a Machine's node it doesn't filter. I observed this in both a 4.9 and 4.10 nightly. Will verify if the "name" filter should also filter the node column.
What I did notice is that when entering a name into the filter text field and then deleted suddenly, not all of the items are returned to the list below. This is also documented in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1990255
*** Bug 2020156 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Checked on ocp 4.10 cluster with payload 4.10.0-0.nightly-2021-12-18-034942.
On machines list page, filter by name, input node name, the machine could be filtered out according to it's node name.
The bug is fixed.
