Description Peter McGowan 2021-10-20 07:34:07 UTC
Description of problem:
Host-presented USB devices are not detected by the validation service. USB devices are not supported by OCPv, so the presence of a host-presented USB device on a VM should be flagged as a critical concern.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.2.0

Additional info:

Implemented with https://github.com/konveyor/forklift-validation/pull/34

Comment 1 Ilanit Stein 2021-10-20 08:47:48 UTC
Fixed in MTV-2.2.0-57

Comment 2 Ilanit Stein 2021-11-08 16:00:44 UTC
Bug 2018944 changed the validation message for the VM with a mapped host device.
It actually cancelled the fix done here.

Moving to Verified based on Bug 2018944 verification,
as this is the expected behavior - Have a warning on host device mapped.
