Description James 2021-10-23 21:42:08 UTC
Description of problem:
The grave accent ` is inappropriately ligatured when using Red Hat Mono -- it becomes attached to the following character in gVim, gEdit, Firefox and possibly other applications. This makes editing TeX difficult in this font.

This behaviour is not observed with Source Code Pro, or in Gnome Terminal.

Screenshots of various renderings attached.

This bug is fixed in version 4.0.3, just released: https://github.com/RedHatOfficial/RedHatFont/releases/tag/4.0.3

Could you update the package to use version 4.0.3?

Comment 5 Neal Gompa 2022-08-03 20:30:59 UTC
I can update it to 4.0.3 later today.
