If you do not wish to maintain perl-Net-Telnet in epel8, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package. I have tested a build and perl-Net-Telnet-3.05-2.fc35.src.rpm currently builds clean in EPEL8
