During a chat with Xavier on IRC, I realized we were waiting on Ralf to approve Xavier's PR to the package (because Xavier prefers to avoid diverging git history between 2 branches). I don't see this happening anytime soon and I don't share Xavier's feelings on git history so I requested the EPEL9 branch and removed mod_perl2 support in that branch.
