Done https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/48384
and sorry for the delay, it's one of the many packages I bulk-inherited as OpenStack deps, feel free to join as a maintainer!

Comment 4 Alan Pevec (Fedora) 2022-10-24 10:40:52 UTC
epel9 scratch build failes on missing BR:
> No matching package to install: 'python3-nose'

Comment 5 Alan Pevec (Fedora) 2022-10-24 10:47:27 UTC
Looks like Nose was in RHEL9 then removed: https://gitlab.com/redhat/centos-stream/rpms/python-nose/-/commit/a00fc019644b8adf71e8c4184727a74d1b3bdcd4
It is still in ELN https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2035050
Please request epel9 branch and link this bz to depend on it, thanks!

Comment 6 Alan Pevec (Fedora) 2022-10-24 13:37:15 UTC
nm, found https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2041068
We'll need work on removing BR on nose in passlib, example from above bz https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/msoffcrypto-tool/pull-request/1#request_diff

tl;dr
+ BuildRequires: python%{python3_pkgversion}-pytest
%check
- %{__python3} setup.py test
+ pytest-3
