Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

The `content_disconnected` setting is currently used to describe 2 different things
1) To disable access the Subscription Portal and update entitlements
2) To indicate that the cdn is inaccessible and red hat repositories can be disabled

However the "Connected ISS" work introduces a new meaning of Disconnected. Here the downstream satellite is pulling content from an upstream satellite and not the CDN. Instead of conflating "Disconnected" to be "Air-Gapped Disconnected" only, we need to split the definition of disconnected by introducing 2 things

1) Rename 'content_disconnected' to 'subscription_connection_enabled' (which means the user can connect to the portal and setup entitlements.)
2) Add a "air-gapped", "cdn" or "satellite" type value to CDN Configuration (which is setup for each org) to clearly delineate the use cases.
If The type setting is 'air-gapped' the user should not allowed to enable/disable repositories (user has to use import/export for that.)

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/33951 has been resolved.

Setting 'content_disconnected' was renamed to 'subscription_connection_enabled'. 

CDN configurations is editable in UI (Content->Subsriptions->CDN Configuration) and using CLI (hammer organization configure-cdn ...) for each organization.

All these settings work as specified in description.
