The volume-changed signal in the Gstreamer mixer interface is not
implemented...

Arjan, I already put a reference to that gnome bug below. You may not be
aware of the nifty "external bugzilla reference" feature that our bugzilla 
got some time ago...

Did the g_timeout_add (100, ...) in gnome-applets get removed too?
