Description of problem:

While debugging another issue that was causing very high load in virt-controller, attempts to access the VM overview page yielded a completely blank (white) page.

4.10.0

How reproducible:

Unsure, see bz https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2065308 for circumstances

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Generate very high load in virt- controller, api server, etc.
2. Attempt to browse to Virtualization -> Overview
3.

Actual results:
Blank page, loss of navigation

Expected results:
VM overview page, possibly delayed, but still loading
