Spec URL: https://petersen.fedorapeople.org/reviews/ghc-double-conversion/ghc-double-conversion.spec SRPM URL: https://petersen.fedorapeople.org/reviews/ghc-double-conversion/ghc-double-conversion-2.0.2.0-1.fc35.src.rpm Description: A library that performs fast, accurate conversion between double precision floating point and text. This library is implemented as bindings to the C++ 'double-conversion' library written by Florian Loitsch at Google: <https://github.com/floitsch/double-conversion>. The 'Text' versions of these functions are about 30 times faster than the default 'show' implementation for the 'Double' type. The 'ByteString' versions are /slower/ than the 'Text' versions; roughly half the speed. (This seems to be due to the cost of allocating 'ByteString' values via 'malloc'.) As a final note, be aware that the 'bytestring-show' package is about 50% slower than simply using 'show'.

This is needed by the formatting library, which is a new dependency of koji-tool (bug 2066552)
The latest version seems to be 2.0.4.1. Do you intentionally package older version? Otherwise looks good.

Thank you! (In reply to Pavel Raiskup from comment #3) > The latest version seems to be 2.0.4.1. Do you intentionally package older version? Just to comment on this: in Fedora Haskell (using cabal-rpm) we are generally tracking the versions in Stackage LTS: specifically F36/F37 is still currently on Stackage LTS 18. Maybe cabal-rpm could generate an appropriate comment to reflect that.
Thank you for the review, Pavel https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/43111
