Check into why the package hasn't been updated (when you're back, not immediately).

Comment 15 Michael Catanzaro 2022-11-20 19:58:58 UTC
Looks like something is wrong with gupnp too, it's not being updated either. I noticed due to:

https://discourse.gnome.org/t/important-gssdp-gupnp-1-6-2/12394

Comment 16 David King 2022-11-21 17:23:29 UTC
I have updated those packages and put them in a testing copr today: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/amigadave/gnome-testing/builds/

As gssdp and gupnp have both changed sonames, I suspect that either new packages for the 1.6 series, or patches for the other packages that depend on them, will be required.

Comment 17 Kalev Lember 2022-11-21 17:33:41 UTC
I suspect it would be OK to update it in rawhide now, but in F37 a lot of the packages that depended on the gssdp/gupnp libraries didn't yet have patches to support the new versions, so I left them at 1.4 for F37.

It would be great if you could handle the update in rawhide, David -- thanks!

Comment 18 David King 2022-11-21 19:05:59 UTC
I emailed the devel list, built gssdp, gupnp, rygel and gupnp-tools in a side tag, and should be able to merge the side tag in a week, after caja-extensions has a chance to get updated.
