The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:

After subscribing to Sync errata notification, The "Test Email" test works fine but if I sync a repo and new errata comes in, There are no notification emails sent.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install a Satellite 6.11
2. Enable a few repos
3. Edit Admin user, Set email address to the user, Enable Email for the user and subscribe to "Sync errata"
4. Click on "Test email" and then save
5. Sync any of the repos and wait for the sync to get completed.



Actual results:

At Step 4, we receive the test email in our inbox as expected

At Step 5, sync happens fine, new errata\packages gets downloaded but no email initiated by satellite. 


Expected results:

The Email Notification should work fine for all the available options

I noticed that we highlighted two issues in this bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2044314 but we neither mention the second issue on any public comments nor the title of the BZ reflects the same.

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/35053 has been resolved.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a
resolution of ERRATA.
