Description Robert Scheck 2022-08-04 23:14:14 UTC
Please branch and build perl-Data-Entropy in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain perl-Data-Entropy in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/perl-Data-Entropy/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

As of writing, perl-Data-Entropy is a run-time dependency of zoneminder (RPM Fusion).

Will you be able to branch and build perl-Data-Entropy in epel9? The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel9.

This package requires perl-Data-Float. Once that is in EPEL9, I will build perl-Data-Entropy.

Comment 3 Robert Scheck 2022-08-15 17:04:37 UTC
The package perl-Data-Float has been built meanwhile, it's submitted to EPEL 9 testing, and there is an active buildroot override. Thus perl-Data-Entropy can now be built for EPEL 9 testing, too.
