Default fonts always serif, whatever the setting

As default font I always get the font specified for the serif font, regardless
if I set the default to serif or sans-serif. I have to set the serif font to a
non-serif font, in order to get sans-serif.
Fedora Core 6 is no longer supported, could you please reproduce this with the
updated version of the currently supported distribution (Fedora 7, 8, or
Rawhide)? If this issue turns out to still be reproducible, please let us know
in this bug report. If after a month's time we have not heard back from you, we
will have to close this bug as CANTFIX.

Confirming for galeon-2.0.3-16.fc8.x86_64.

I confirm that the problem persists even when upgrading
galeon-2.0.3-16.fc8.x86_64 to galeon-2.0.4-1.fc8.1.x86_64. Do you have a problem
reproducing it? Can I provide some more information than the original poster did?
