https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2119599 was submitted as a request to branch and build vim-syntastic on epel8 and epel9. However, vim-syntastic is deprecated upstream and has many dependencies that are not packaged for epel8 or 9. vim-ale provides similar functionality without the dependencies. I have built for epel8 and epel9 in my COPR. https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mhjacks/mhjacks_proposed_pkgs/build/5096854/ https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mhjacks/mhjacks_proposed_pkgs/build/5096850/ Are builds for epel8/epel9 from the current rawhide SPEC file. I am willing to co-maintain for EPEL if you do not want to do so (FAS: mhjacks).
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 38 development cycle. Changing version to 38.
Thank you for the report. Requested branch: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/53648
