Hi, Please build an EPEL9 build for libHX. pam_mount has a dependency on it. Many thanks, Chen
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 38 development cycle. Changing version to 38.
I beg you to build libHX for the EPEL9 repository. I originally started the request to build pam_mount for EPEL9 (Centos, Alma, ...) but pam_mount depends on libHX and without that library I will never get pam_mount. Regards, Bernhard
Chen, would you like to maintain libHX as well? I only packaged it back then for pam_mount.
Sure, I'll request as a co-maintainer
Update: Seem you need to add me from "https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/libHX/settings#usersgroups-tab" instead
It has been a couple months since Chen indicated willingness to co-maintain libHX. I'm also interested in getting pam_mount and libHX in EPEL9. I would be willing to co-maintain either of these packages to help make this happen. (Disclaimer: I am a total novice to fedora/epel package maintenance and associated processes.)
Seems I now have "rpms/libHX" listed under "Packages" in my profile. I'll try forking epel-9 branch in the next week.

There is a special interest group to help you join Fedora to become the maintainer: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-join/ Here you should find the help to move forward with this.

I remember that I granted access back then. Hi Till Maas, I tested again and it appears a collaborator still cannot request new branch. https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/56407 Best Wishes, Chen
Update: Just did a koji build for v4.14 https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=106378461 But cannot push to rawhide. Now sure why because I can "fedpkg new-sources". Maybe I need a higher privilege. [lunarshaddow@server libHX]$ fedpkg push Enumerating objects: 9, done. Counting objects: 100% (9/9), done. This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 38 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 38 on 2024-05-21. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a 'version' of '38'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version' to a later Fedora Linux version. Note that the version field may be hidden. Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see it. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora Linux 38 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version prior to this bug being closed.
Fedora Linux 38 entered end-of-life (EOL) status on 2024-05-21. Fedora Linux 38 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora Linux please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Note that the version field may be hidden. Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see the version field. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against an active release. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
This is a reminder that I can still not request new EPEL9 branch or push into raw-hide because collaborator is not allowed to do so.
