Description of problem: Bluestore OSD's starts showing high fragmentation score with in few days of deployment while utilization is also very low. osd.0: { "fragmentation_rating": 0.81388290254636642 } osd.1: { "fragmentation_rating": 0.84503680514900248 } osd.2: { "fragmentation_rating": 0.84516388630588535 } Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ODF 4.9 OCP 4.9 ceph version 16.2.0-152.el8cp (RHCS 5.0z4) Actual results: Fragmentation score is high for newly deployed OSD, though utilization is low. Expected results: Fragmentation score should be low for newly deployed OSD, if the utilization is also low.
