Steps to Reproduce: 1. Unknown 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: I have been trying to repoduce the bug, but have been unable to do so accurately. I have decided to file the report because I got a syslog report identifying the apparant line of the bug, so I thought someone who knows more about the linux source should have a chance to get a look at it. This may be a duplicate of the numerous bugs regarding USB that have cropped up lately. The message given by syslog will be attached along with a list of the modules loaded at the immediate time after the bug occured.

This is the same as bug 211223. Both of them crash with the same BUG() modprobing something with USB. Unfortunately both are also using the nvidia driver... Can you reproduce it with out the nvidia driver? Otherwise it's probably an nvidia bug.
I'm having a hard time reproducing it even with the nvidia drivers loaded and I haven't been able to do so without it (I suspected that it was the nvidia driver and tried to replicate it without the module loaded). *sigh* I really wish we had better open source drivers for nvidia chips...
