Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 2 Vladimír Sedmík 2023-04-11 10:26:01 UTC
Verified in 6.12.4 snap 1 (with rubygem-katello-4.5.0.33-1.el8sat.noarch)

Steps:
1) Register an external Capsule to a Satellite, check the capsule Details page:
  Capsule is synchronized
  Last sync: Never
2) Assign the Capsule to the Library LCE and check the Details page:
1 environment(s) can be synchronized: Library
  Last sync: Never
3) Sync some content to the Satellite and Capsule, check the Details page:
  Capsule is synchronized
  Last sync: 2023-04-11 11:47:18 +0200
4) Create new LCE (and reassign the Capsule to it), new CV, add some content to the CV and publish+promote it to the LCE. Check the Details page:
  Capsule is synchronized
  Last sync: 2023-04-11 11:53:19 +0200
5) Trigger some load (sha256sum /dev/zero &) on the Capsule to delay its response, refresh the Details page:
Before the sync details were loaded, only the plain "Last status:" was displayed for a second, but no "Pulp plugin missing" message like in comment#0.

Result:
All the steps shown the correct status, the "Pulp plugin missing" message was not displayed even in the early stage of the Details page display, before the sync details were actually loaded.
