+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2182296 +++ Description of problem (please be detailed as possible and provide log snippests): Must-gather should support collection of logs from the namespace where the storagecluster is installed. As part of the feature https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHSTOR-2442, installation of storagecluster in a namespace other than openshift-storage is supported. This will be requred in Managed Service clusters. Version of all relevant components (if applicable): ODF 4.13.0-109 Does this issue impact your ability to continue to work with the product (please explain in detail what is the user impact)? Yes, logs are not collected. Is there any workaround available to the best of your knowledge? No Rate from 1 - 5 the complexity of the scenario you performed that caused this bug (1 - very simple, 5 - very complex)? 1 Can this issue reproducible? yes Can this issue reproduce from the UI? If this is a regression, please provide more details to justify this: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install storage cluster in a namespace other than openshift-storage in a Managed Services cluster. 2. Collect OCS must-gather Actual results: Logs from the namespace where the storagecluster is installed are not present. Consumer cluster must-gather - http://magna002.ceph.redhat.com/ocsci-jenkins/openshift-clusters/jijoy-m23-c1/jijoy-m23-c1_20230323T063536/logs/testcases_1679568559/ Provider cluster must-gather - http://magna002.ceph.redhat.com/ocsci-jenkins/openshift-clusters/jijoy-m23-pr/jijoy-m23-pr_20230323T063512/logs/testcases_1679568584/ ======================================================== Expected results: Relevant logs should be present including the logs from the namespace where the storagecluster is installed. Additional info: --- Additional comment from RHEL Program Management on 2023-03-28 06:52:12 UTC --- This bug having no release flag set previously, is now set with release flag 'odf‑4.13.0' to '?', and so is being proposed to be fixed at the ODF 4.13.0 release. Note that the 3 Acks (pm_ack, devel_ack, qa_ack), if any previously set while release flag was missing, have now been reset since the Acks are to be set against a release flag. --- Additional comment from Jilju Joy on 2023-03-28 07:11:45 UTC --- The feature will be backported to ODF 4.12.z as part of the bug #2174335 . So the change in must-gather will be needed in ODF 4.12.z as well. --- Additional comment from RHEL Program Management on 2023-03-30 11:57:36 UTC --- This BZ is being approved for ODF 4.13.0 release, upon receipt of the 3 ACKs (PM,Devel,QA) for the release flag 'odf‑4.13.0 --- Additional comment from RHEL Program Management on 2023-03-30 11:57:36 UTC --- Since this bug has been approved for ODF 4.13.0 release, through release flag 'odf-4.13.0+', the Target Release is being set to 'ODF 4.13.0 --- Additional comment from errata-xmlrpc on 2023-04-04 12:59:20 UTC --- This bug has been added to advisory RHBA-2023:108078 by Boris Ranto (branto) --- Additional comment from errata-xmlrpc on 2023-04-04 13:00:06 UTC --- Bug report changed to ON_QA status by Errata System. A QE request has been submitted for advisory RHBA-2023:108078-01 https://errata.devel.redhat.com/advisory/108078 --- Additional comment from Sunil Kumar Acharya on 2023-04-10 12:22:18 UTC --- Please have the RDT(requires_doc_text) flag/text updated accordingly.
