When running the new web UI, the window appears as Firefox in GNOME Shell - it has the Firefox icon and app name. This is potentially confusing and looks odd. The installer should appear as just that - the installer. The fact that Firefox is being used under the hood is an implementation detail. Reproducible: Always
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle. Changing version to 39.
Seems that the resolution will be new environment variables for Firefox that will set the appropriate values. Probably fixed in FF in bug 2230336.
Testing today's F39 nightly, this doesn't appear fixed. If I click "Try" at the end of the g-i-s workflow and then launch the installer from the live desktop, then look at the overview, the installer has the Firefox icon and its title is "Anaconda Web UI - Mozilla Firefox". So, it sounds like we need to actually set "MOZ_APP_TITLE="Anaconda"", as explained in the other bug. That won't solve the icon, though, will it?
